Old Man in the Hot Springs

Did this happen to anyone else when playing Earthbound2/Mother 3? Sometimes there was an old man in the healing hot springs. If you spoke to him all he said was "Yes?" Random.
I could just imagine the four of them relaxing in the hot springs and then suddenly realising that there was a fifth person there with them. Would would they say? "Get out, this is our hot spring"?

I loved drawing these guys, I need to draw more fanart. Duster is my favourite. With almost every other character next.
